This large, blank backed card was originally issued attached to a product display sheet by the manufacturer. Bearers of a regular JBR 122 card (see previous lot) with the number 3 stamped on the back were entitled to select a third prize card such as this one. Like the card of the previous lot, this card depicts Starffin in a 1948 Kinsei Stars uniform, despite the fact that the card was issued in 1949.

Interestingly, a long ago owner of the card apparently attempted to write Starffin's autograph in English and Japanese on the back using a blue fountain pen. His or her effort was not particularly successful.
