This postcard size bromide baseball card appears to be a companion piece to the previous lot. It's a 1949 San Francisco Seals team photo, taken during their Tour of Japan. The entire group of 22 players plus manager Lefty O'Doul can be seen in the photo. The Seals won all of the games they played against Japanese opposition on the Tour. Nevertheless, the Tour was hailed in Japan as a wonderful event for both the sport of baseball, and for better relations between the two countries. Blank back.
