This one page double sided pamphlet was printed by the Mainichi Shimbun (Newspaper). While we have seen a number of items relating to the 1955 Yankees Japan Tour fairly often, we see this pamphlet only occasionally. The only other examples that we have ever auctioned were hammered down in 2005 and 2019.

The cover indicates the five dates for which the scorecard could be used. The Yankees roster and the various team rosters of the five Japanese teams that participated in these games are printed in Japanese above the scorecard. A Yankees team photo is featured on the back page. A previous owner has handwritten the scores of games 2, 3 and 4 directly below each Japanese team name, and has made various notations next to the printed names of the Japanese players.

Condition: There is one vertical manufacturer's fold which makes this a four page pamphlet. There are ballpoint pen markings in the Japanese team rosters area.
