This is the first time in our 37 years of buying, selling and auctioning baseball memorabilia that we have ever seen this item. Sadaharu Oh, the home run king, is pictured on the cover if this sketchbook, along with a smaller image of the Yomiuri Giants' team mascot, Mr. Giants, who was introduced in 1965. The inside front page has a green portrait outline of Oh holding a bottle of Meiji Milk Gold. The text above the image is translated as "King of Milk", a double entendre. Oh's surname is translated as King in Japanese. Meiji Dairy regarded their product as the King of Milk. The remaining pages of the sketchbook are blank. The back cover depicts the path that Meiji Gold Milk takes from cow to grocery store in cartoon form.
