There are only three examples of this card known in the hobby. This card is in better condition than the other two. Parnell, the Boston Red Sox ace, was the principal starter on the 1951 U.S. All Stars Tour of Japan, going 4-0 with a 2.25 E.R.A. in seven games. This strikingly beautiful, extra large premium card was originally issued as a first prize winner on a display sheet. Parnell's name is printed in Japanese at the bottom. The signature appearing on the card is printed. Blank backed.
Size: 7" x 10 1/8"
Condition: Would be Vg to Vg/Ex but there is paper loss at the upper right border due to previous attachment to a photo mount.
