The JCM 137 set is one of the scarcer color "tobacco menko" sets. There are two poses of Sadaharu Oh in the set. This pose has been seen fewer than two dozen times in any condition, and this is only the third example that we have ever sold at auction. The number 3 stamped on the card back by the manufacturer indicates that the bearer of this card was entitled to select a third prize uncut pair of JCM 137 cards from a display sheet.
