The JCM 24 Hoshi Gangu cards are Sadaharu Oh's most popular rookie card, bar none. The regular issue JCM 24 cards have off-white borders (see Lot 75). The card in this lot is the scarcer, gold border variation, which is significantly more difficult to find than the regular version. Oh's teammate, Shigeo Nagashima (HOF), Japan's most popular historic player, is seen swinging in the background.

Condition: PSA 5--Ex MC. While the card is off-center top to bottom and left to right, we do find the MC designation to be a bit harsh.
