There are nine types of JF 10 cards, each distinguished by specific text on the back, and whether part of the player's name is found in a box. All nine types are quite scarce. Many, many Kobai Caramel cards of the early 1950s were redeemed for prizes and, as a result, had a large overprint stamped on the front or back by the manufacturer before returning the card to the owner. Luckily, this example was spared. Tetsuharu Kawakami was Japan's greatest hitter during the 1940s and 50s. After he retired, he became Japan Pro Baseball's greatest manager. This scarce card of Kawakami would be welcome in any Japanese baseball card collection.
