Following the 1971 season, the Baltimore Orioles made an 18 game Tour of Japan. This ticket is for Game 16 of the Tour played at Kokura Stadium against a combined team of Yomiuri Giants and Chunichi Dragons players. Jim Palmer started the game, was roughed up early and was eventually knocked out of the box. However, Pete Richert came on to shut down the Japanese Pro Baseball team. The Orioles came back to win 8-7 in the 9th inning. Frank Robinson homered for the Orioles in this game.
