The 1962 Japan Series featured the Hanshin Tigers and Toei Flyers. This is a ticket for Game 2, played at Koshien Stadium on 10/14. The Tigers won this game 5-0 behind Hall of Famer Minoru Murayama to take a 2-0 series lead. However, the Flyers rallied to sweep the next four games and take the title. Isao Harimoto (HOF), Japan’s only player with over 3,000 career hits and 500 home runs, was named the Player with Outstanding Technique at the end of the series. Harimoto signed the ticket in black ballpoint pen.
