Lot Description  

From the list of signees, we are uncertain as to whether this shikishi dates from 1959 or 1960. A vintage signature of Masaichi Kaneda (HOF), Japan Pro Baseball's greatest pitcher is seen at bottom center. Hall of Fame first baseman Tokuji Iida (d. 2000) signed in the upper right corner. Other autographs include Hiromi Tanida, Yukihiko Machida, Jun Hakota, Morimichi Iwashita, Mitsuo Uno (d. 1994) (manager), Reijiro Watanabe, Yoshio Kitagawa and one unknown signature.

Size: 9 1/2" x 10 3/4"

Condition: Shikishi - Ex due to yellowing and foxing. Signatures range from 7 to 10 of 10.
