Lot Description  

Joint team postcard photo #1 appeared in our Auction #25, this is a different postcard. Wisconsin U. traveled to Japan for one of the earliest US university Japan Tours. The team played its first four games against Keio U. and the final three against Waseda U. Surprisingly, Keio won the first three games of the series, before Wisconsin salvaged the fourth game. The final three games against Waseda were won by Wisconsin. Hall of Famer Zensuke Shimada (Keio) most likely appears in this photograph, but has not been identified.

Condition: Ex to Ex/Mt. Unused.
