The JBR 80b card of Lefty O'Doul and Yomiuri Giants manager Osamu Mihara was unknown until a couple of years ago. At this point, the card offered in this auction is one of only two examples extant. The image was taken during the 1949 San Francisco Seals Tour of Japan. The first game of the tour was Giants vs. Seals, with the Seals coming out on top 13-4. Most likely, the image on this card is from that day.

Condition: Vg. The scratches seen on the image are etched into the negative. Therefore, it is thought that all examples of this card exhibit such scratches.
