Fumio Fujimura, known as Mr. Tigers, is seen here wearing a uniform donned by Osaka Tigers players only in 1950 and 1951. This is the only Fujimura card that we can remember in which he has such an infectious smile. Maybe it's because he batted .362 to lead the Central League in average in 1950, to go along with 39 homers and 146 RBI. The card is undoubtedly a first prize winner card associated with a display sheet. The Japanese text at lower right reads, "Fujimura infielder, Hanshin Tigers". Blank backed.

Size: 7 1/2" x 10 3/8"

Condition: Ex. This card is in nicer condition than at least 95% of the giant sized bromides that we normally see. Conditions of such cards are generally much worse because of the large surface area of the cards.
