Only two examples of this gorgeous card are known to exist. On the card, we see five Seals infielders jogging. The man on the left is Hall of Fame member, Arky Vaughan. the former Pirates and Dodgers great, who finished his career with the San Francisco Seals. The other players are (from left to right) Reno Cheso, Dario Lodigliani, Mickey Rocco and Frank Shofner. Although Vaughan played for the Seals in 1949, he was not a member of the Tour party, so we assume that the photo used for this card was taken in the United States, despite the fact that the card was produced in Japan.
We feel that the card was originally offered as a second prize winner card on a display sheet associated with an unknown base card set. On the blank back, we see a bit of extra paper and glue left over from the previous attachment of the card to the display sheet by the manufacturer.
