This card is likely a companion piece to Lot #32 of our Auction #60 held in March of 2021. The two giant cards are identical in size. Both contain the same text in the same font at bottom printed in the same, unusual green color. Only two copies of each of the two cards are known in the hobby at present. This card is also most likely from the same set as the following lot featuring Makoto Kozuru.
Fujimura is depicted wearing a uniform used by the Osaka Tigers only during 1950 and 1951. The card is undoubtedly a first prize premium, originally associated with a display sheet. Mr. Tigers was the heart and soul of the Tigers teams from 1936 through 1958. Blank backed.
Size: 7 5/8" x 10 1/8"
Condition: Technically G/Vg because of corner wear but still beautiful. There is extra paper and glue residue on the blank back, as the card was originally sold attached to a product display sheet. All examples of this card should have similar marks of attachment.
