This is the first example of this ticket that we have seen in our more than 30 years of dealing with Japanese baseball memorabilia. Sadaharu Oh is pictured on this ticket in his iconic flamingo batting stance. The Fan Appreciation Day event must have occurred following the 1965 regular season, as the date printed on the ticket is November 27th. This is an invitation (not for sale) full ticket. Beginning at 11:30 a.m., attendees could view a parade, gymkhana, a Giants players contest, mass game (whatever that is) and other events which included members of the Giants team. A Nissan car advertisement appears on the reverse. The ticket is in extremely high grade condition.
