Davey Johnson is well known among American baseball fans for his stellar major league career as both a player and manager. However, a lesser known fact is that he spent two years (1975-1976) as a player with the Yomiuri Giants before returning to Major League Baseball for the 1977 and 1978 seasons. As he was a member of the Yomiuri Giants in 1975, he was awarded a card in the Mr. Baseball set. Johnson is seen here in his Yomiuri Giants uniform.
