Here is another image from the Baltimore Orioles 1971 Japan Tour found in the set honoring Mr. Baseball, Shigeo Nagashima. Nagashima and Robinson are being interviewed together, in uniform and on the field. We have no idea who
the other two individuals are in the photo. We would guess that the man wearing the Orioles uniform is the team's interpreter, and the man in the suit is an announcer, but it is just a conjecture. We know that the man with the mic isn't Jerry
DaVanon, who wore number 2 for the Orioles in 1971 and was a Tour member. Among other things, DaVanon was listed at 5' 11" and Nagashima at 5' 10". In any case, this is an opportunity for you to own a scarce card of the two great
third basemen on the field together.
