Volume 11, no. 1 of this Japanese children's magazine contained a special, large size sports sugoroku. A sugoroku is a colorful, large sheet of paper which is used like a game board. Each segment is similar to a "square" in many
American board games. Each player has a piece that is moved around the sugoroku from square to square, according to the results of dice rolls. This sugoroku has 25 "squares" of various shapes, each one containing a color drawing
representing a particular sport. For example, number 25 represents baseball. From ice skating to fencing to tug of war, almost every schoolboy sport imaginable is pictured. Blank backed.
