Lot Description  

The caricature on this card, or one similar, has often been drawn in Japan to represent Joe DiMaggio. DiMaggio's name does not appear on this blank backed card, but the image does bear a resemblance to Joltin' Joe. DiMaggio toured Japan in both 1950 and 1951. The card offered here is the only example known.
