This set will appear in the Japanese Baseball Card Checklist & Price Guide for the first time in the next edition, where it was assigned a scarcity factor of R5, meaning that three or fewer copies exist of most cards in the set. Normally, Miyatake is wearing a red jacket in this issue. This is the identical card as the regular card, except that he is seen here wearing a green jacket! This is the only copy of the "green jacket" version that we have seen to date. From 1927 to 1930, Miyatake attended Keio U., where he was a superstar both on the mound and at first base. During his university career, he won 39 games as a pitcher, while losing only six. His record of 15 wins in a row stood until 1984. He also had a lifetime batting average of over .300. He later played in the early years of Japan Pro Baseball, once again pitching and playing first base. He was elected to the Japan Baseball Hall of Fame in 1965. Blank backed.

Size: 1 3/4" in diameter

Condition: Fair due to edge wear and chipping.
