On November 6, 1966, the Los Angeles Dodgers played the 11th game of their 18 game Japan Tour against the Japan Pro Baseball All Stars. Results wise, this was a rough Tour for the Boys in Blue, as their won-loss record was a surprisingly poor 9-8-1. This performance was far worse than that of any MLB team which had previously toured Japan. Perhaps the quality of play in Japan had improved over the decades, with the likes of Sadaharu Oh, Shigeo Nagashima and Tsuneo Horiuchi now leading the Japan squad. At any rate, in this game, the All Japan team crushed the Dodgers by a score of 11-3 behind the pitching of HOF/Golden Players Tsuneo Horiuchi and Tetsuya Yoneda. Shigeo Nagashima blasted a home run in the game as well.
