1980 was the first year that Calbee switched the format of their cards from 2 3/8" x 3 1/4" to 2" x 2 5/8". They had used the earlier format since 1973, and would continue
to print cards in the new format until 1992. We opened one pack of this 20 pack lot to determine the card series and discovered that it is probable that all packs are from
the #201-250 series. This series includes cards of Sadaharu Oh and Roy White, along with HOF/Meikyukai players such as Sachio Kinugasa, Koji Yamamoto, Hiromitsu Kadota,
Yutaka Fukumoto, Yutaka Enatsu, etc., etc. These one card packs seem to be in good order, so we would assume that virtually all cards in this lot, if removed from the
packs, would be in Nm/Mt or Mint condition.
Size: Each card is 2" x 2 5/8".
Condition: Packs average Nm condition. Cards inside should be Nm/Mt and Mint.
