An insert from Ichiro's first U.S. card set. There are fewer than 50 of these insert cards in existence. This is not a reprint. Reprints have a 2001 copyright line on the back. All authentic #5 cards (regular and insert) have a narrow horizontal print line going across the card about 3/4" from the top. We have been handling the Ichiro Hilo set since the 1990s. These cards used to be seen on occasion, especially after Ichiro's incredible major league debut in 2001. However, in recent years, the supply has dried up. This is a special card for the Ichiro collector.
