This is only the second example of this card ever seen. The Japanese Baseball Card Checklist & Price Guide, Vintage Edition gives this set a scarcity factor of R5, meaning that three or fewer examples are known for most cards in the set. Mizuhara was a star player at Keio University and a member of the All Japan team that played the U.S. Major League All Stars with Babe Ruth in 1934. However, he is probably best remembered as the long time manager of the Yomiuri Giants (1950-60) and Toei Flyers (1961-67, 69-72). As a manager he won nine pennants and five Japan Series championships. Blank backed.
