Bobby Shantz joined the 1951 Major League All-Star Tour of Japan while a member of the Philadelphia Athletics. The three time all star and 1952 MVP signed this photo with a blue pen during the 1951 Tour. The photo was taken during the Tour.
Shantz finished the Tour with three victories and a 1.54 E.R.A.
