L.A. Nippon was established in 1926 as the first Japanese semipro baseball team in Southern California. The Nippon won three consecutive
regional Nisei championships (f27-f29) and also barnstormed against the likes of Satchel Paige and others. This photo was taken and signed
during their 1931 tour of Japan. Autographs include Jimmy Crandall, "Bucky" Harris (not the HOFer), "Red" Frazier and Peter "Hajime" Kondo.
