Ogawa was the greatest pitcher of his generation. After leading his team to eight consecutive appearances in the National High School Baseball Championships at Koshien, he starred at Waseda University from 1929 to 1932.
This card, as with the Miyatake card offered in Lot 7, contains the initials H.S.P. This card is number 123. Ogawa was inducted into the Japan Baseball Hall of Fame in 1981.
