Miyatake was a Big Six U. superstar at Keio U., who later had an outstanding Japan Pro Baseball career. He is featured here as a pitcher for the Keio University team.
Little is known about this recently discovered issue. This card is part of the same series as the Shotaro Ogawa card offered in Lot 8.
The initials H.S.P. are printed on the card, along with the number six. Miyatake was inducted into the Japan Baseball Hall of Fame in 1965.
