Konishiki, born in Hawaii, was a three time Ozeki champion (one rank lower than Yokozuna, or grand champion). This tegata, contains an original hand print, along with the Japanese signature. Konishiki's personal stamp is also present.
Konishiki debuted in 1982 retired in 1997 with a record of 733–498–95. He was the heaviest wrestler of all-time with a weight of around 580 pounds.
