Lot Description  

In 1972, Takamiyama became the first foreign born rikishi (sumo wrestler) to win a top division championship. He finished that tournament with a 13-2 record. He debuted in 1964 and ended his career in 1984 with a 812-845-22 record. This tegata has an original hand print and a signature in black marker.

Size: 9 1/2" x 10 3/4".

Condition: Mint.
