Seldom do we see a postcard depicting both teams during a US university Japan Tour. This image was recorded prior to the first game in the series between Washington and Meiji. Washington won 4-0 behind a pitcher named Portman. At the time, teams such as Meiji U., Waseda U. and Keio U. were playing the highest level games in Japan. This is one of the few times we have been able to offer the original glassine envelope in which a postcard was originally sold, as well as the postcard itself.
Size: Postcard--5 7/16" x 3 7/16. Envelope slightly larger.
Condition: Postcard--Ex/Mt and unused. Very crisp image. Envelope--Ex due to yellowing.
