Produced in 1956, this complete 36 card set, distributed in four uncut sheets, was most likely a magazine insert. While we have handled individual cards from this set in the past, we are proud to offer this complete set in uncut form for the first time. The following 18 Hall of Famers/Golden Players are included: Katsuya Nomura (rookie), Michio Nishizawa, Tetsuharu Kawakami, Futoshi Nakanishi, Ryohei Hasegawa, Atsushi Aramaki, Masaichi Kaneda, Takehiko Bessho, Yoshio Yoshida, Yasumitsu Toyoda, Tatsuro Hirooka, Wally Yonamine (Hawaii), Kenjiro Tamiya, Noboru Akiyama (rookie), Hiroshi Oshita, Tetsuji Iida, Kihachi Enomoto, and Kazuhiro Yamauchi. The other players included are Aota, Andy Miyamoto (Hawaii), Ugai, Sugiyama, Tamatsukuri, Morishita, Hakota, Kono, Shimahara, Miura, Fujio, Tsukuda, Kajimoto, Sasaki, Watanabe, Okamoto, Inoue and Doi.
The reverse sides of the cards depict Ninja.
Size: The sheets each measure 7 3/8" x 10 1/8". Individual cards would measure 2" x 3 5/8" if cut from the sheet.
Condition: Corners have some wear and slight creasing. Most cards are in Mint condition, some of the border cards have staining.
