These cards feature brilliantly colored photographic images which are far nicer than anything produced in the US during the same time period. The number of cards in this uncatalogued set is unknown. However, we are guessing that the set is complete at around 40 cards. Backs are a "Who Am I" game. The cards were hand cut to various border sizes by the manufacturer.
Players in this lot include Japan Hall of Fame members Tetsuharu Kawakami, Hiroshi Oshita, Shosei Go, Juzo Sanada, Katsumi Shiraishi, Kaoru Betto, Shigeru Chiba and Hideo Fujimoto. Others are Hirai and Tenpo-Braves; Sugiyama-Dragons; Katayama, Minagawa and Shiraki-Flyers; Hirayama and Kawasaki-Giants; Matsumoto and Morishita-Robins; Ooka-Stars; and Kaneda and Fujimura-Tigers.
Size: Each card is approximately 2" x 2 5/8".
Condition: Range-Fronts Vg to Nm, Avg.-Ex to Ex/Mt. Backs all have extra paper, possibly due to previous attachment to a scrapbook.
