This red and blue stitched ball is the type used during the 1934 All-Star Tour of Japan featuring Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig.  It was also used throughout the Tokyo Big Six League University Baseball League. "Official American Ball - University League" is printed on the sweet spot. A Tamazawa logo is also printed on the ball, as are the following specifications: "HORSE HIDE COVER - 5OZ9IN ACCURATELY". A seldom seen two piece box accompanies the baseball. The box is made of waxed cardboard. Embossed Tamazawa logos decorate the lid-top and box-bottom.

Size: The box is 2 3/4" tall. The ball is regular baseball size.

Condition: Both the ball and box are in Fair condition.
