This is the second known sumo set that was produced following World War II. There are five cards of Yokozuna in the set. Two of the five, 415 Terukuni and 9401 Hagurayama were already Yokozuna at the time. 100 Azumafuji, 1240 Chiyonoyama and 7000 Maedayama became Yokozuna in later years. The cards were originally produced in sheets of seven that could be popped out from the sheets by the purchaser.
