This rare set from an unknown manufacturer features rikishi from the Aki 1946 Basho. There are five Yokozuna featured in the set. Two of the five, 906 Terukuni and 1208 Haguroyama were already Yokozuna at the time that the cards were manufactured. 1004 Azumafuji, 1534 Maedayama and 3236 Chiyonoyama became Yokozuna in later years. The set was originally produced in panels of six cards, so the singles offered here must have been hand cut.
