The key card in the JGA 196 set of Lotte Orions players depicts former Los Angeles Dodgers Rookie of the Year and All Star, Jim Lefebvre. This is one of only three different cards produced of Lefebvre during his four years in Japan (1973-1976). After an outstanding 1973 in which he slugged 29 homers, Lefebvre's performance gradually deteriorated. However, in 1974, he became only the second player ever to be a member of teams that won both the World Series and Japan Series.
This card, like all JGA 196 cards, features the same image and facsimile autograph of team manager and all time great HOF pitcher, Masaichi Kaneda, on the back.
