JBR 45 is a nine card set that was included as an uncut sheet in the November 1967 edition of Shonen Club (Youth Club) magazine. Individual cards were cut from the uncut cardboard sheet and removed from the magazine. The card offered in this lot features Mr. Giants, Shigeo Nagashima.

In 1967, Nagashima, at age 31, was in his prime. He and Sadaharu Oh led the Yomiuri Giants to the second of nine consecutive Japan Series championships. Nagashima was selected to the Central League Best 9 team at third base.
