27 different cards comprise the JBR 64 set of phonograph record bromide cards. Shigeo Nagashima has two cards in the set. One of the cards, described as "ready to field" in Japanese Baseball Cards Checklist & Price Guide, Version 4.0., is fairly commonly seen. The card offered here, described in the same guide as "hips up portrait" is quite scarce. This is only the second time what we have ever auctioned an example of this card. The last time was 21 years ago.

Cards from the JBR 64 set were printed with a hole in the center, so the owner can put the card on a record player at 45 rpm and listen to the player speak.
