The JCM 24 Hoshi Gangu cards are Sadaharu Oh's most popular rookie cards, bar none. The regular issue JCM 24 cards have white borders. The card in this lot is the scarcer, gold border variation, which is significantly more difficult to find than the regular version. Oh's teammate, Shigeo Nagashima (HOF), Japan's most popular historic player, is seen swinging in the background.

All 1959 Hoshi Gangu Gold Border cards are graded by PSA with the Hand Cut qualifier, as nearly all of these cards were originally sold as uncut sheets.
