Nikko Shashin is a Japanese art form in which there are images in which you can see different patterns when changes like wind blowing or modifications to light and darkness appear. In this case, we have an uncut sheet of sixteen thin plastic cards printed in black with white etchings. Each card contains the player's name and his caricature. "Latest Version of Nikko Shashin" (photo paper) is printed at the right edge of the sheet. So, we assume that the product was marketed as photo negative images.
Sixteen players are represented on the uncut sheet: (top row, left to right) Masaichi Kaneda (HOF), Shigeo Nagashima (HOF), Toru Mori, Isao Harimoto (HOF), (2nd row, left to right) Yukio Ozaki, Motoshi Fujita (HOF), Kazuhiko Kondo, Sadaharu Oh (HOF), (3rd row, left to right) Toshio Yanagida, Ritsuo Horimoto, Yasumitsu Toyoda (HOF), Takeshi Kuwata, (bottom row, left to right) Kunio Jonouchi, Shigeo Nagashima (HOF), Masayuki Tanemo, Noboru Akiyama (HOF).
This is truly an exotic Far East vintage baseball card lot! Take the sheet outside and see what develops.
