Baseball Magazine was one of the preeminent monthly Japanese sports magazine of the 1930s. Each issue featured a colorful cover and a section of large, high quality black and white photos covering all aspects of baseball in Japan and in the United States.

This lot consists of all the 1932 issues in one volume. Baseball Magazine is stamped on the spine. The most exciting covers to many American collectors are the three that feature Babe Ruth, Mickey Cochrane and Lefty O'Doul. There are a number of Babe Ruth photographic pages scattered among the magazines. Ordinarily, collecting all 12 issues of the magazine published in 1932 would require years of perusing Japanese websites. We have rarely seen such compendia of baseball magazines over the years.

Size: Each magazine is 7 1/4" x 10 1/8". The lot is 2 3/4" thick. Total weight: 5 pounds, 5 ounces. Each issue has approximately 105 pages including many photo pages.

Condition: The magazines would be Ex/Mt to Nm, but each has two punched holes near the binding to accommodate placement in the binder.
