Fumio Fujimura (1916-1992) was known as "Mr. Tigers". From 1936 to 1958, he was the third baseman and the heart and soul of the Hanshin Tigers. He led the league in home runs three times. He led in RBIs five times, and had the most hits in two different seasons. He also hit for the cycle in both 1948 and 1950. Fujimura was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1974. This shikishi (traditional signing board) was boldly signed with a calligraphy brush.
