This is the only copy of this card that is known in the hobby. The image is identical to the JBR 90a card of Bessho, but this card is much larger. In 1950, 300 game winner Takehiko Bessho was in rare form. He had a 22-11 won loss record to go along with a 2.83 ERA. He pitched a yeoman like 315 innings. This is a truly rare portrait image of one of Japan's best pitchers.
Blank back card
Size: 5 3/4" x 8 1/2"
Condition: Ex due to a touch of browning at the white borders and several white flecks on the image. There is excess paper and glue across the blank back, as the card was originally offered for sale on a product display sheet. All copies of this card are expected to have the same type of residue on the back.
