All time great Russian hurler Victor Starffin is pictured in his All Japan uniform, pitching against the San Francisco Seals in late 1949. The card was originally a third prize premium glued to a display sheet. Starffin started the game of 10/29/49, won by the Seals 1-0 on a run in the 9th inning. Starffin had already been removed from the game by that time, having pitched eight shutout innings. Blank backed.

Condition: Ex/Mt. There is a small amount of paper and glue residue on the blank back at the top border, as all examples of this card were issued attached to a product display sheet. Thus, all examples of this card will most likely exhibit such residue.
