This is only the second time that we have ever been able to offer the November 15, 1934 issue of Asahi Sports with Babe Ruth on the cover. The previous time was way back in 2003. We rarely see this magazine.

The cover of this November 15th issue shows the Babe in his U.S. Major League All-Stars Japan Tour uniform belting a home run against Japanese opposition. More photos depicting Tour game action, and a large team photo are found inside. There is an accompanying, quite lengthy article about the Tour written in Japanese. Also included is a box containing each Tour member's statistics for the 1934 regular MLB season. The Tour article and photos comprise the first five pages. The remainder of the magazine deals mostly with other sports, although there are a few pages devoted to Japanese baseball.

Condition: Slight cover tear to the left of Ruth's left wrist. Some inner pages have browning at the edges that does not affect the content. There is considerable foxing on the back page. The binding is tight.
