Nearly all bromides produced in 1950, regardless of size, contained the words “Pacific League” or “Central League” printed on the card. This super large card is no exception. “Central League” is printed, just above Fujimura’s team name, surname and position. The card was originally a 1st prize card associated with the 1950 JBR 88 Pastel Bromides set.
Most giant bromides, because of their size, tend to have border wear and/or creasing. This card is the rare example that doesn’t have such defects. This colorized bromide is just plain gorgeous!
