We have seen examples of this card only twice before. Kawakami is shown here holding his trademark red bat, along with a blue bat more commonly associated with his chief rival at the time, Hiroshi Oshita (HOF). The image is a well composed portrait of one of Japan Pro Baseball's all time greats. Blank backed card.

Condition: Tiny pin holes in each corner and a thin, 1 1/2" long scratch at bottom right. Still, overall a great looking card.
